Imagination, unfettered.
This is simply a follow up to my last post where many agreed with my thoughts on the creation of a book. Most took my side in the Creation idea of "just get the story down and then worry about making it readable afterwards" but a few others disagreed suggesting that that you should write each sentence perfectly the first time, each stanza and paragraph to the the same standard.
I do not believe in the "get it right first time" philosophy, but that is me, I do not deny that it, at times, works for others. In my occasional guise as a poet, I still like to play with the words and verses long after they are complete, hoping to create a more perfect whole, but I rarely succeed (I am a terrible poet) my mind full of so much more than words. I still think that it is strange and wonderful (even after all these years) where your wandering imagination may take you. Lands unknown, places unseen, idyll's undiscovered heretofore, little magics like the telescope and internet; sparkle and inform whilst imaging what will be next. Other dimensions, levels of thought, Panacea's and even other universes are as open to us as the mysteries of life after death. All we have to do is think.
I think.
