The dead are rising...again
With both "Life, Love and Death" and "Over the Tears of the Fallen" (I know it is not all available on here yet as it is still being edited but it will be in time) now complete, I have been able to recommence writing part two of "And the Sea Shall give up its dead" which is provisionally titled, "The Resurgent God". It has been a pleasure to re-enter that world of fishing boats and sailing, thoughtful zombies, old sea gods, dodgy drunken sailors and even dodgier (is that even a word) Policemen and I have taken to it with relish.
All of the characters you have grown to love return to the stage but not all will survive to the end. I know that it is rather early to be talking about this as book one is scheduled for release in October and you will have to wait at least a year until the second volume is released but I am loving it already and thought I would share that with you.
Life, Love and Death is selling quite well, which comes as a bit of a surprise to me. This is not because I do not think it that good, I think it is excellent (even if I do say so myself) it is well worth a read and even a think on the subject matter thereafter. Rather because It does not suit today's model of the novel. It is short for one thing, only one hundred and fifty pages or so. It consists of three novellas, hence the title, though each novella encompasses all the aspects of the trinity, they (They being the unknown masses) say that novellas and compendiums do not sell these days. Yet it is, Hooray. I have still to advertise it and do the obligatory tour, at the end of next month which will hopefully push the volume even more. Thank you to everyone that has purchased "Life, Love and Death" and to those of you thinking of doing so. You have allowed me to return to my old friends the zombie sailors. Thanks.
